Meditating On the More

Meditating On The More
Another journal book filled. Each time I start filling a new book
with the days remembrances, with verses that have impacted me
and the poems they led me to write, I wonder at how much more
God has for us, than we have accessed up to now.
I share some Bible snippets and what they inspired me to write.
Luke 17:... faith as small as a mustard seed... say to this tree,
.be uprooted... it will obey.
The Mulberry Tree
Little faith
small in comparison
to what Jesus
can
Practice
on a tree
then move on
The mountains
are waiting.
Ephesians 1:... Jesus Christ who has blessed us,
in the Heavenly realms
with every spiritual blessing...
Be Full
Peace
elusive at best
necessary from the
inside out
Available
in abundant supply
as surely as God
has spoken it
So why does torment
find a way
strife be allowed
to interfere
This cloak of flesh
defines me
so often
As I let loose of the
mindset
of God's righteousness
Standing
just outside the door
where light and love
compel me
enter in
The depths
of God's eternal bliss
to be my now
He beckons
A change of thought
Not even this
as I will to drink
the full to overflowing
cup
Jesus Christ
the wine.
Psalms 119:..turn my eyes away from worthless things..
Chug God Instead
Follow the trail
of your cravings
desires
and thoughts
Where do they lead
To peace
and over the top
bliss
or a round trip
ticket
to disappointment.
Proverbs 18:.. the fountain of wisdom
is a bubbling brook..
Why So Downcast
Complaints about
one's circumstances
the equivalent
to testing God
Not a good idea
seeing that
He has
set in place
our Captain
Who stands ready
to send us
flip flopping
overflowing
with His bliss
Filled with
an abundance
of His riches
and love.
Zachariah 9:... Grain will make the young men thrive
and new wine the young women.
Drink Today
Awaken
do not dwell
only in the flesh
you wear
So limiting
so linear
Let the life of God
restore what was lost
a Garden ago
Christ has made a way
has opened
Heaven's door
A Kingdom awaits
A sip
from His cup
away.
