While writing in my journal during my
morning quiet time. I jot down what I
like to call "snippets of Scriptures".
Here are a few from this November.

Psalms 119: Blessed are they who
...seek Him with all their hearts. They do
nothing wrong.

Isaiah 43:... Forget the former things,
do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing
a new thing.

James 4:...come near to God and He will
come near to you...

A poem written this month:

Gentle Savior

If God seems distant
out of reach
Try a step
in His direction
He is not pushy
or demanding
but patient
and kind
He has promised
to never leave
You are not
an orphan
Sonship
is but a
Yes Lord
away
Welcome His Spirit
Life will be
increasingly better
As His best
is yet to come

1 John 2 :,,, remain in Him,,,

John 14,, the Spirit of truth,,, except Him...
know Him .. The Holy Spirit... Will teach you
all things..

Psalms 103: Praise the Lord.. Who satisfies.
your desires with good things.. Abounding in love..


Come To Me

Bright diamonds
the largest and rarest
found on earth
Cobblestones
decorative embellishments
in comparison
to the treasures of Heaven
God's personal Hope chest
filled to overflowing
More and more
accumulating daily
in preparation
As the last and greatest
times in time
race to fulfill
His open arms.

Isaiah 55: Come all you who are thirsty
.. Your soul will delight in the richest of fare
... come to Me...
