Questions

To be honest, when I get to Heaven
I have a lot of questions.
For instance, there was a war in Heaven
and God casts out the Devil/Dragon and
his Angels. That's a good thing.
God casts them down to the Earth. Then
He made man in His image. That's good.
God did this on Earth. It seems to me
that in the whole big universe He might
have had a safer spot for us.
I'm frustrated watching people that I see
day after day who are pain ridden and
crippled not getting fixed/healed.
I want fixed/healed.
I see saintly men and women on TV and
the Internet who pray and people get fixed.
The blind see, the deaf hear and cripples walk.
We need a few of those kinds of saints where
I live.
I'm not giving up. God said to ask, seek, and
knock. Faith comes by hearing. I'm going to
make sure my ears are cleaned out. I'm going
to keep expecting to see God's love and power
flowing close by. Maybe even flowing through
little old me.

John 3:17 God did not send His Son into the
world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through Him.

Mark 16: Go... preach the good news... In my
name place . hands on sick people and they
will get well.


Even Now

Resurrection
from the dead
is not a dinosaur tale
recorded to entertain
Its not an invention
that ghost stories
are made of
Resurrection
is the demonstration
that Almighty God
has chosen
to bring His reality
into lives
that have forgotten
from hence they came
So if you hear reported
that some
not to be left for dead
man or woman
was raised up
to breathe the air
a few days more
Remember
He who thought
to create the dinosaurs
of long ago
will someday come again
and is asking
even now
Will He find faith
on the Earth.


The Lifter of My Head

God is upbeat
not beat up
He has access
to more information
than you
Good and bad news
yet He chooses
to continue onward
and upward
Relying on
perpetual
unstoppable
resources
at His right hand
With an open invitation
for you
to taste and see
that the Lord is good
With mercy and grace
to all
who will come
and in His rest
be fed.


A Hope Chest

The treasure
is among us
Remember
who The Helper is
God knows all things
He reveals them
to those who will
call upon His name
Expect His rich reward
desire His best gifts
He has chosen you
to carry this good news
to all
Who is nearby you.
