Seeing the Kingdome
The words "in view of His Mercy"
are still instructing me this month.
They are strong to redirect my thinking.
This makes walking in love instead of judgment
instantly available.
Purging and organizing computer files and
desk clutter have kept me busy.
I will be starting work on the second book
in the "Listener" trilogy this month.
Getting rid of the distractions of a
to do list will help me to hunker down and
get to work. Then there's the fact that I am
only on the February 2008 journal in the task of
transferring poems I've written onto the computer.
This is continuous since I write several new ones
each week.
I am still studying the notes from the last conference
I attended. This has me presently meditating on John 3,
where Jesus talks about seeing the Kingdome of God
and entering the Kingdome. I did a word search of
"Kingdome" on my poems and found quite a few.
I share the following ones with you.
May joy in His Kingdome increase
exponentially for you this year.
Away With You
You have come
like You promised
Jesus fulfill
all my needs
taking me with Him
into His wild
exquisite Kingdome
No desire
left unfulfilled
You are all
I need
Living in Christ
fils my reservoir
Dripping floods
of wisdom
linking this world
to Heaven's
open door.
Power's Source
Like a man stumbling
in unfamiliar territory
the apostle of faith
wonders ever closer
to that wall
The wall
that is breached
when what he thinks
he knows
comes in contact
with what he saw of old
but could not interpret
fully
Until that time
when the mind of man
laid down his cherished
misconceptions
and walked through
the living flesh
of Christ's endless life
The brilliance of this
Holy place
now overcomes
all darkness
No shadow remains
The path of
Kingdome living
exposed
New wind's thirst quenching
properties
flow freely
leading all to come
and see beyond
dimension's opening
No stumbling
cloaks the way
to God's eternal home.
One Day in His House
Lord open my eyes
that I may fully participate
in this joyful assembly
Thank You for bringing me
to this mountain
the dwelling place
of the living God
Let me watch the dance of Heaven
That I may learn to move
in Holy reverence
taught by those
who have been perfected
before me
May I keep my eyes ever focused
on Your joy that is set before me
Not to be sidetracked by any sin
that would deflect Your purpose
Let me walk with those
who have seen the King
high and lifted up
Who are ready to celebrate
each day of the new birth
into the Kingdome of our God
and of His Christ
Let me move hand in hand
shoulder to shoulder with the Angels
who with joy are gathered
To watch as they move swiftly
in instant obedience to their captain
Who has been perfected
through suffering
once for all
seated on the Throne
Glorified
high and lifted up
Let me know that I am never alone
but surrounded by this great cloud
of witnesses
On the threshold of an eternity
made perfect by the payment
of His righteous blood
Rejoice and the exceeding glad
as the first notes
of the new song
begin.
