A Book Review

A Book Review
I just finished a great book. "The Shack" by William Young. The first few chapters were not my cup of tea, although they were well written. Then it really got good. The cover has a comment that compares it to Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress". I think this is true. It really gets you to rethink paradigms that have greatly limited mans relationship to God. It was so exciteing that, although a fiction book, I took notes because I want time to contemplate some of the representations proposed by characteristics of the Trinity. This is all I will say about it for now. My mind is still wrapping around much of the possibilities proposed through the characters in the book. A good friend was over today who is also reading the book. It was very enjoyable to have someone to talk to about how to assimilate possibilities exposed through these characters.
I have a slight case of cabin fever and will have my mother in law drop me off at some store while she is at the gym. We in the deep South stay indoors where it is air-conditioned like Northerners escaping winters chill.
