About the Wind
When you live on an island, it is always a good idea to follow all storms in the Atlantic with a serious eye. Then when one misses you, prayers for the next landfall kick in since you are intimately conected with what is involved with a direct hit. We lived in Morgan City La. for a year. While there we sat through the scariest hurricane I have ever been in and I've been in a few. The winds were howeling and rain came in under the door and windows. I will be happy if I never experience another hurricane.
I have been enjoying the free video's on www.fathersglory.com. I am relatively new to the Internet and gave my E Mail address. Right after this I received my first spam. Now I will be more careful where I give my information.
We had an impromptu barbecue yesterday. It began with one friend coming over and grew to over a dozen. There was plenty of food and a good time was had by all. Sometimes unexpected celebrations are the best. No long range planning necessary.
I have been transported back to the 4th grade. My grandaughter is visiting and she has brought her home school C.D.s. So my liveing room is filled with the sound of a language arts class.
Today I want to keep the beautiful face of Jesus formost in my mind's eye and allow His peace to buid my confidence that the future is calmly in His capable hands.
