Meditating On the More
April Blog. 2012
Meditating On The More
Another journal book filled. Each time I start filling a new book
with the days remembrances, with verses that have impacted me
and the poems they led me to write, I wonder at how much more
God has for us, than we have accessed up to now.
I share some Bible snippets and what they inspired me to write.
Luke 17:... faith as small as a mustard seed... say to this tree,
.be uprooted... it will obey.
The Mulberry Tree
Little faith
small in comparison
to what Jesus
can
Practice
on a tree
then move on
The mountains
are waiting.
Ephesians 1:... Jesus Christ who has blessed us,
in the Heavenly realms
with every spiritual blessing...
Be Full
Peace
elusive at best
necessary from the
inside out
Available
in abundant supply
as surely as God
has spoken it
So why does torment
find a way
strife be allowed
to interfere
This cloak of flesh
defines me
so often
As I let loose of the
mindset
of God's righteousness
Standing
just outside the door
where light and love
compel me
enter in
The depths
of God's eternal bliss
to be my now
He beckons
A change of thought
Not even this
as I will to drink
the full to overflowing
cup
Jesus Christ
the wine.
Psalms 119:..turn my eyes away from worthless things..
Chug God Instead
Follow the trail
of your cravings
desires
and thoughts
Where do they lead
To peace
and over the top
bliss
or a round trip
ticket
to disappointment.
Proverbs 18:.. the fountain of wisdom
is a bubbling brook..
Why So Downcast
Complaints about
one's circumstances
the equivalent
to testing God
Not a good idea
seeing that
He has
set in place
our Captain
Who stands ready
to send us
flip flopping
overflowing
with His bliss
Filled with
an abundance
of His riches
and love.
Zachariah 9:... Grain will make the young men thrive
and new wine the young women.
Drink Today
Awaken
do not dwell
only in the flesh
you wear
So limiting
so linear
Let the life of God
restore what was lost
a Garden ago
Christ has made a way
has opened
Heaven's door
A Kingdom awaits
A sip
from His cup
away.

The Road To Amazed
March blog. #2 2012
The Road to Amazed
I've been reading from St. Luke Chapter 4.
Each time I open to it, I get a new perspective.
I'll think I'm finished and should move on.
Then, Wow, more is seen.
"Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit returned,..."
Breathe Him In
Distractions
leading away from
what is worth
our time
The mind
filled with trivia
Temporal
most of which is
in the end
self imploding
This trap
easily sprung
by allowing
God's breath
to enter
Then our exhale
will bring
a direction
filled with life
enough to
spread around.
"...and was led by the Spirit..."
Temptation
To be tempted
is not a sin
Jesus was led
by the Holy Spirit
and was tempted
Being filled
with the Father's
words
the antidote
providing victory
over every thought
every deception
The outcome
of such a battle
blessing
freedom
leading to abundance
for all.
If You Are
The tempter's
if's and promises
no strangers
to the sons
and daughters
Jesus heard them
too
and with His Father's
words
walked on
To better than any
tempter's hand
could ever comprehend.
In the Power
What Would it
look like
if we were to
get up each morning
in the power
of the Spirit
Jesus provided
the pattern
Even after
what we would
say
was a
very bad month
spent in a desert
He was
filled
and it showed
wherever He walked
"Jesus returned... and news spread
throughout the country."
Do Likewise
Is it possible
that our words
when synchronized
with God's purpose
can proclaim
Bringing release
sending multitudes
hurling
head over heels
into the vortex
of God's love.
"All were amazed at (His) gracious words
...Amazed at His teaching..."
Fully Loaded
Has anyone had cause
to be amazed
when you spoke
lately
If not
stop
and fill your belly
with the living Word
Are you recognize
by your foe
as someone who can
drive them away
If not
go back
Put on the
Royal robes
designed in the
image
of the Holy One
Then
even the blind
will see
the Beautiful One
in you
and come away
amazed.

Glory Preppers
March 2012 Blog.
Glory Preppers
I recently discovered a television program called
"Doomsday Preppers". After watching a few episodes
I concluded that these people were "radical" in their ideas.
They had certain common beliefs.
I'm looking for some radical thinkers to prepare with.
I'll call these folks "Glory Preppers".
Their common denominator's are along these lines -
Numbers 14:20... The glory of the Lord fills the whole earth...
Isaiah 6:3...the whole earth is full of His glory
Ezekiel 43:2... the land was radiant with His glory...
Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the
knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover
the sea.
These radical preppers will remember that, ravens can feed
a man. That empty pots can fill up with oil enough to sell
and sustain, starting with the sharing of a small amount.
They will expect to have loaves of bread and fish multiply,
to have water flowing from a rock follow them. Don't forget
honey cakes appearing six mornings a week. Their shoes
and clothing to not wear out and to always have enough chicken
in the pot to feed the hungry.
Saddle Up
All surpassing power
given through God's Spirit
now to man
So many think as jars of clay
alone
So few charge forward
with His faith
His promises
to do the more
laying dormant
at their feet.
Listen Up
Each day
the news delivers
what to fear about
Is this productive
for you
Or would your mind
be better
set on things above
Where moth and rust
do not exist
Where every human need
is stored up
Where God
who sits upon His
Mercy Seat
has sent His Son
proclaiming peace
and given
set in stone
His promise
Restoration
and more than just
enough to spin
not only life
from death
but to include
Outrageous bliss
in supernatural supply.
Relax
All is well
in order
readied
prepared
made new
So little effort
on our part
left to do
Loose the reins
and let
He who spoke
all that is seen
into being
Continue
what He does
best.

Something to Invision
February 25, 2012 Blog:
Something to Envision
Imagine a wide staircase coming down
from Heaven. God has a broom and is sweeping
Angelic children down the staircase. They roll and
tumble laughing happily. Everywhere they land,
they point out, to those they meet, that what
they have and what they want is not as good
as God wants.
They place garlands of praise
around the necks of unsuspecting depressed
people living in depressed places. They begin to laugh
and squeal with delight as golden dust of opportunity
falls on them.
A megaphone is produced and an announcement made.
We interrupt your daily plan with a special message.
Christ has already done all, fulfilled all. Step right into
His joy. Drink Him in. Smell His fragrance
all around. If the road seems long or steep, expect Him
to shorten and smooth.
Your Father is not a prune. He is more like a gigantic
cluster of grapes filled with excellent wine. With Christ as
the distributor. This feast including butter and honey,
more than enough.
Allow Him to interrupt, the same old. Letting the river of
His pleasure flow through your whole being. Elastic
waistbands provided for expansion. Expect His great
and mighty on your behalf. Providing super charged
when needed.
Don't be afraid of cliff edges. He will never let you go.
Fly free with Him to heights that our bodies will allow
without bursting from His expanded pleasure.
Ride the Holy Spirits flow. Catching up drafts that let you
rest while moving forward.
Let old memories dissolve away
as He fills you with His now. No longer slaves pounding away
on hardened stones. Now sons and daughters walking
arm in arm with The Possessor of it all.
If you appear to be stuck. Let Heaven's atmosphere
dissolve any blockade as easily as marshmallow fluff
is licked away.
A caged animal thinks the one providing the food is
it's life giver. We, who are made in His image,
have all that's needed to be free.
Don't worry about any, then what's. He has promised
and will always provide.
John 14,15:... Jesus replied,... Remain in Me... Remain in
My love...
Contact
Looking directly
closely
into another's eyes
Not usually
an everyday occurrence
Even when we do
seeing who
they think they are
most likely
Instead of
understanding
the glorious
magnificent creation
that has come
from God.
I I Corinthians 3:... where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is freedom.
First Cup
Your
have to list
would be a lot shorter
if you will stop
and drink
from Father God's
pleasure
before you begin.

Full of Joy
February 2012 blog.
Full of Joy
We are carbon copies of the Creator.
Now Christ, has finished the repair work
We can become carbonated, bubbling over
with joy, with the bliss of His fellowship.
Not only walking with Him in the cool of the evening
but forever resting in and with the Messiah.
A Holy Spirit Masters degree pressed into what is no more
just a clay pot. With animation designed to tell it all.
Christ in us, His joy complete.
Isaiah 11:...he will delight in the fear of the Lord...
Wisdom's Part
Wonderfully made
this carbon copy
Contemplate the eye
it's workings
the wonder of it
Now imagine
the co-creating
of the broken
nonperforming
blind eye
formed anew
Then understand
the fear of the Lord.
Psalms 126:When the Lord brought back
the captives to Zion,
we were like men who dreamed.
Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our toungues with songs of joy...
The Lord has done great things for us
. We are filled with joy.
Happy Happy
Dance to the music
to the rhythms
all around
In the shops
and center squares
let joy be loosed
to soften up the frowns
Begin the laughter
until tears
the belly jogging
hoop and howling
focusing attention
from the dust
to let the Son
more brightly shine
Dimensions
of the coming Kingdom rise
and split the sides
of every rotten lie
that says
Our God hain't freed us.

Food to Race on With
Food to Race on With
Here It Is, January 2012.
I found some real gems in my end of the year
Journal review.
Here are some Bible tidbits and some poems
inspired by them.
Psalms 103: Praise the Lord...who satisfies your desires with good things
...compassionate and gracious...abounding in love...
Psalms 119:... Blessed are they who...seek Him with all their heart.
They do nothing wrong.
God's Waltz
When dancing
with your first love
don't allow any usurper
to cut in
He will try to
fill your ear
with half truths
in order to confuse
and lead you
into the shadows
Dance with
Love's pure flame
filling both you
and He
with joy
to last the full
life through.
Isaiah 48:... I will tell you of new things, of hidden things... They are created now,
and not long ago;
Isaiah 43:... Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up...streams in the wasteland.
Isaiah 55:...all you who are thirsty...your souls will delight in the richest of fare...come to Me...
Satiated
Sweet water from the Rock
dip your head and drink
It will follow you
never to run dry
Notice your thirst
your need for Him
be refreshed
renewed
Walk within the mist
the moist coolness
available
even in the heat of battle
Find His stream
wade out
don't stop until the river
is deep enough to swim in
Let it carry you
carried like the wings
of a new dawn
Where the Sovereign
of forever
will clasp you in His arms
with perfect love's
embrace
Mark 16:...preach the good news to all creation.
John 14:.. Anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater
things than these...the Spirit of truth...accep Him...know Him...the Counselor...the Holy Spirit
...will teach you all things...
John 16:... Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete...
Better
I can think about
my don't haves
for hours on end
hug misery
to my bosom
but for what end
Then there is
the breaking forth
of sunshine
of colors
that bend around
and peekaboo
revealing
who really is
a friend
The blissful knowing
that what a friend
we have in Jesus
who knows our longings
and can satisfy
to a peace filled end
is more than just
a song.
Colossians 1:...the Father who has qualified you to share in...the Kingdom of light...rescued
...from the dominion of darkness...
James 4:... You do not have because you do not ask God... Come near to God and He will come
near to you...
James 1:...every good and perfect gift is from above...
The Last Days
Bright diamonds
the largest and rarest
found on earth
Cobblestones
decorative embellishments
in comparison to the treasures
of Heaven
God's personal hope chest
filled to overflowing
More and more
accumulating daily
In preparation
as the last and greatest
time in times
races to fill
His open arms.

The Future Is Now
December 2011 Blog:
The Future Is Now
2012, about to happen, sounds like science fiction to me.
I feal like the years have joined a rocket powered race
ever since 2000 arrived.
Since I can't slow down the clock, I try to savor the moment.
Right now, I'm writing this out on my porch. It's 79°, The babbling
fountain, in the yard, is singing along with a slight breeze.
We came home last night at 11 PM and crickets were
proclaiming how beautiful the Christmas lights look.
For all of you in the cold, remember, this is relative
to five months of blazing heat, when you are cool and
calm.
Terry has been working feverishly on updating his web site,
www.signumops.com. It doesn't need New Year's resolutions.
He is very motivated. Amanda has a new web site,
www.hipplayground.com. She takes after her father. I am full of
ideas for more children's books and poems. Now to get them
from my journal into print or onto the IPad format.
This year's goal of writing 2 blogs a month will have to be
continued. Who knows maybe I will write another one before
2012. Zoom, there's that date again.
I add some poems:
No Limit
Behold
a virgin
shall conceive
There is no limit
to God's creative
miracles
The heavenly hosts
of Angels
praising God
proclaiming the birth
of Jesus
stand waiting
Let your
Yes Lord
fill the earth
with more than enough
of His love
to go around.
Christmas Eyes
Heavy
heavy
heavy
is the heart
of man
As he gazes
on the wars
that rage
around us
Look up
Lite
is the heart
that sees
the Light of the
world
That gazes
into the eyes
of the Babe
of Bethlehem
now seated
in His Glory
Ready to dispatch
thousands
of Heavenly beings
armed with the
rarefied elixir
of His love
To open the eyes
of the blind
and dust with gold
the joyful captives
Set free
to drink in beauty
and celebrate
the Christ
the Lord of Glory
Today
and soon to be
forever more.
A Celebration Psalm
Jesus
For those I love
I thank you
For resources to give
and days of celebration
I thank you
You are the Babe
of Bethlehem
my pattern of reliance
on the Father's care
You are the resting place
of Holiness
gentle as a Dove
You are compassions source
with eyes of love
You are the bearer of all sin
knowing full well
it's consequences
Now You live in me
You reign on high
You prepare eternity
You with lightning speed
and unlimited power
are coming quickly
soon
Just in time.

fill the earth
with more than enough
of His love
to go around.
Christmas Eyes
Heavy
heavy
heavy
is the heart
of man
As he gazes
on the wars
that rage
around us
Look up
Lite
is the heart
that sees
the Light of the
world
That gazes
into the eyes
of the Babe
of Bethlehem
now seated
in His Glory
Ready to dispatch
thousands
of Heavenly beings
armed with the
rarefied elixir
of His love
To open the eyes
of the blind
and dust with gold
the joyful captives
Set free
to drink in beauty
and celebrate
the Christ
the Lord of Glory
Today
and soon to be
forever more.
A Celebration Psalm
Jesus
For those I love
I thank you
For resources to give
and days of celebration
I thank you
You are the Babe
of Bethlehem
my pattern of reliance
on the Father's care
You are the resting place
of Holiness
gentle as a Dove
You are compassions source
with eyes of love
You are the bearer of all sin
knowing full well
it's consequences
Now You live in me
You reign on high
You prepare eternity
You with lightning speed
and unlimited power
are coming quickly
soon
Just in time.
